PHILIPPE GUEGAN
ANTIQUES & DECORATIVE ARTS
Philippe Guegan is a specialist of XVIIIth century French Decorative Arts. In his gallery, antiques are combined with contemporary art, like kinetic pieces by Todd & Fitch. The outcome being an eclectic cocktail of refined taste and elegance, very much appreciated, not only by international collectors, but also by the younger generation.
Seats, furniture and works of art are carefully selected for their own beauty, but also through three criteria: authenticity, workmanship quality and provenance. With their elegant outlines, and their geometric shapes, they fit well into period rooms or modern interiors.
Philippe Guegan is member of Carré Rive Gauche. Prior to the opening of his gallery, he studied Law and Art History, and became Commissaire-Priseur, first working as a specialist in different auction houses, then he joined the Franco-American art dealer Flore de Brantes.
The gallery located 12 rue de l’Université, is opened from Tuesday to Friday from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.. Monday and Saturday from 2.30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
